Heatless hairstyles

Heat can cause a lot of damage to your hair, so during the summer I try to stay away from using it on my hair. Summer is the perfect time to do this because you have a bunch of time on your hands and can try out a bunch of new hairstyles. Here are some of the hairstyles I use on my hair during the summer to prevent using heat.

1. Braids
My first favorite hairstyles that do not require heat are braids. I like braid because not everyone is the same. You can do so many such as the basic braid, fishtail, french, dutch, and many more. Another thing I like about braid is that you can sleep on them and the next morning you wake up with heatless waves.

2. Messy bun
Another hairstyles that I  like to do is a messy bun. I like the messy bun because during the summer it gets really hot and the messy bun keeps you cool by getting everything up and out of your face. Also this hairstyles on requires a hair elastic and takes less then one minute.

3. Beach waves
If you don't like the wear your hair up this hair styles is perfect for you. First you are going to need your hair to be damp but not soaking wet, then take the hair and scrunch it with a towel, once you have done that a couple times repeat that some process but add moose or gel to hold the wave and scrunch with your hands. Once you are done with the gel or moose use a bit of hairspray to finish off the look and then you are done. Another product you can use is a sea salt spray which gives you the effect that you just came out of the ocean and have perfect waves. The last way you can get waves is to simply sleep on two french braid and take them out in the morning.

Those are the 3 basic hairstyles that I like to use to prevent using heat. The thing I like about them is that you can change them up and make them your styles. And also you are not using heat and damaging you hair.

With bows being a very big fashion right now I thought it would be perfect to have my first Diy on how to make your own at home. I love bows but some times i feel that they can be a bit over priced in some stores. I have come up with a way to make your own bows at home and look like you bought them from a store. This diy is a no sew project also with makes it even better.

Things you will need:
1. Fabric (Any fabric of your choice)
2. Hot Glue Gun
3. A burette or bobby bin
4. Scissors

Steps to create this bow:

Cut your fabric into two pieces the first one being 2 by 4 inches and the other piece being 10 and a half inches by 5 inches. Next take the bigger piece of fabric and fold the width in on both sides about 2 centimeter long. You are then going to take both ends and fold them into the middle and glue both of the pieces into place. With the tiny piece of fabric you are going to fold it into threes and hot glue it together and then set it aside. Take your fabric and gather it in the middle untill you have you shape of your bow, then take your smaller piece and wrap it around the bow to secure it and hot glue it down. The last step to creating this bow it to glue you burette of bobby pin to the back of the bow and then you are done!
